Crazy Dream

I had this crazy dream last week. I was in Dunkin Donuts and I walked inside the same time as another person did, but he decided he would order before me.
I said excuse me, I was here first.

He said hold on …went outside came back with a gun and robbed me!

I wuz negotiating with him about the contents in my wallet and why he wouldn’t be able to use some of it. I was worried about replacing having to go to DMV and get a new license. Who the hell wants to stand in those lines. I had 2 bucks in my wallet, but more money in the bag I was carrying. Stupid forgot to ask for that bag.

He kept my wallet, but his lady friend got it back for me.

I woke up lol. Next time I go in DD and someone orders before me, I’m not saying crap!

The heart is a funny thing. It can turn on a dime, and when you least expect it betray you. The very heart that you had convinced yourself you had mastered can become unruly and rebellious. It grieves and hurts and feels every little prick, and to try to suppress or ignore it only prolongs the healing. A broken heart is still a heart and will not go unnoticed for long. It will demand attention at some point. Hearts are very funny things that way.

She asks 'what is love?' i think, `so cliche.'

love isn’t something we can universally define. that’s why every answer to ‘what is love’ seems wrong to each of us on some level. the truth is, i believe love is an irreversible relationship, unique to a lover, and always unique to the one loved. i do not love my sis like i do my best friend. i do not love chocolates like i do the feeling i get when i go out. but i do love all of them.

love is a generic word used to describe a relationship that has gone beyond acquaintanceship. the word ‘friendship’ is much the same, really, but it can be more universally defined because experiences in friendship tend to be slightly more skewed to a norm, at least to a certain level of mutual understanding.

love, on the other hand, is always unique, because our feelings concerning the relationship are so undeniably strong. that is why we stop saying ‘i like you a lot’ and move on to the word ‘love,’ though we do not really know what the word means. only that we need something more than ‘like.’

love is not an infatuation. that is a far different relationship, most constructed on one side, by the infatuated. love is rather a mutual understanding that something indescribably and irreversible exists between two people. person A may not feel the same indescribably feeling towards B as B feels towards A. but they both know they both feel something that has become a part of them, and has yet also become greater than them. and both know that feeling will never end. even when the physical act of the relationship does.

because even after breakups, death, divorce, fights, and after we ‘move on’ from one another, the love we once had, we still have. it always exists.

as much as we sometimes wish it did not.
